Final Post
Yes, I do feel that I have achieved what I wanted to achieve in a way because I am writing better papers. I final recognize my mistakes on my own. Yes, I would like to add some of my new goals, now that I am more familiar with college level
writing, like now I realize that I am not good at writing thesis statements. Now my next goal is to write better thesis statements or at least an okay thesis statement. I will like to continue all of my strengths as I said in my last post and I will like to strengthen all my weaknesses as I said in my last post. I would also like to stop being a procrastinator because it is not cute and it will never help me in my future. All of my weaknesses that I know I still need to work on is not being able to come up with a thesis statement and writing about other people work and thinking critically about it like articles, ads, etc.

How I will make my essay better?
My essay contains two things that I am strong at and two things that I am very weak at when it comes to writing an essay. I am weak at writing good thesis statements. When it comes to thesis statements I need a plethora of help and if I do not get help on it I would not write it. I would rather get a bad grade on it then make myself sound stupid by coming up with one on my own. The reason why I think I am weak at writing thesis statements is because I never grasped the whole thing about an okay thesis statement. I know that it is good to have one because it helps you focus your paper. It gives your readers a purpose for reading your paper. It also helps you build up other ideas to connect with that main idea. I know all of this stuff, but yet I still cannot come up with a great thesis statement.
Also, I am weak at writing about other people work and thinking critically about them like articles, ads, etc. The reason being, I cannot really relate to what they are trying to tell their readers or viewers. I really cannot think that critically about what they are trying to state. I can say that I get half of it, but it is still more of what they are trying to state and I feel like I cannot get it. I have a vivid picture in my mind, but when I try to write it down on paper it sounds slow. I just stop at what sounds good and the rest I toss it to the side and call it a day.
On the other hand, I believe that I am strong at writing about my own ideas and experiences, free styling if you will. The reason why I believe that is because when it comes to free styling or giving me a topic that I can relate to I can just go on and on about it or until I feel like the paper is completed. I can fully write about it without any care in the world. For example, my narrative paper and my argument paper I did fairly well on them because they were my own ideas, my own reasons for picking them, and they were things that I had experienced.
Furthermore, I am strong at working well with others; well certain people. The peer review played a major role with that. At first I did not like talking to other people about my paper because I thought that they was going to think that my papers are stupid which means that they would think that I am stupid. When I think about it now my papers were more successful because of the peer review. The better peer review was the better my paper became. My first and last papers was fairly well off because I took full advantage of the peer review and I actually had some people to criticize my paper the way a professor or teacher would. On the other hand, my second and third papers were unsuccessful because I showed up to class late and did not take full advantage of the peer review. It also went terrible because the groups that I was in were not really focused. They were getting mostly all of their ideas form me. They were not participating or contributing, so I can at least get an idea or two from them.

Argument Essay
When writing a successful argument there are 3 specific details that it should contain. Which they are an arguable thesis, an objective to the argument, and for you to reply to the objective argument. the reason being, how can you argue with an essay if you cannot argue against. It would not be possible to argue against it. Having an objective to the argument is very important to because in order to get the your reader to agree with what you are arguing against you have to make sure you thought about the objective of your argument. If not you will lose your reader because they will think that you do not know what you are talking about and just stop reading the essay all at once. Also, replying to the objective is important too because it does the job of showing your reader that you know what you are talking about and you are on top of your game to get them to agree with you. I use all of this information in my writing for my own argument because it is important and it will help my argument be successful.

Is it better to stay at home and attented college or dorm at college?
As far as getting to actually know the college I believe that it is better to go off to college than to stay at home. At home you have so many responsibilities and when you go off to college all of those responsibilities goes away and all you have to do is take care of yourself. If you stay at home and attend school you will have to see the same old people and feel like your are in high school except it is more advanced. Some people my think it is better to stay at home because it cost to much to go off to school, but I believe that is money well spent. I mean the government is going to spend it anyways so why not let them spend it on you?

Errors
I found three different types of errors in my papers, which is comma splices, fragment sentences, and misspelling words. The reason why I have a plethora of comma splices is because I really do not know when to stop a sentence. I want to put a plethora of information in, but at the same time I try to make it short and I end up putting a plethora of commas in a sentence. The same thing goes for my reason of having fragment sentences. I do not know how to fix those so I just leave them they way they are and hope that my tutor or my peers fix them. my reason for having misspelled words is because I am lazy and do not feel like going over my work so I just turn it in not realizing that some of the words I could have fixed I just did not spend enough time on it being very lazy.

BLOG #10
The peer review that we do in class is effective to me because it gives me a chance to see other people papers to see how they are getting the assignment. It gives me away to see someone else's view point on it other than a teacher or professor. It also helps me to get to know my peers a little bit better because it makes us interact with each other.
My strengths as a peer reviewer is that I actually give them feedback and ways I believe they can relate their stories to real life instead of just thinking that it is for a grade, it makes the paper more interesting. My weaknesses are that some of the time I come to class late so I really do not have enough time to give them my actual opinion.
I find it more helpful to do peer review for earlier stages of the writing process because it helps you get started with the paper and motivates you to actual do it and turn it in on time. Larger groups are more helpful to me because you get more opinions and ways that you can improve your paper. I do feel that I have an appropriate amount of time for peer reviews sometimes when I enter class on time.

Free style
Out of the three assignments that we have worked on so far, I beilieved that my first paper was the best. I felt more confident about that paper because it is more personal it was not based off an article or ad. I felt like I was bascially talking to a friend when I was writing that paper. I did not have to think criticlly and I really did not have to worry about if my paper did not sound like I knew what I was talking about. I guess in a way it was my way of getting my feelings out. Like sometimes I would be afraid to speak because I thought I spoke ghetto, so that was my way of getting things out of the way I felt about people talking about me not being able to speak properly. On the other hand, my second paper was the most difficult because I had to think of what a motionless ad meant to me. I know I should have picked a better one to talk about, but that ad really stuck out to me and I thought I could have did a better job, but I did not and I really feel terrible. to me I think a paper is successful if it is very long, longer than what your professor expects you to do. If the paper is not long to me I feel that you do not know what you were talking about and in that case I felt like that, thats reason why I felt like I gave up at the end.
